I know that there are several dating sites for people who want to meet and date Americans. Do you know of any sites that are more reputable than others? I don't want people to end up in a potentially harmful situation.

Any dating site can be potentially dangerous if u arn't careful. You have to follow some rules in order to protect yourself from predators. Never give out your full name or social security number or even phone number because these can all be looked up and/or traced online. Don't give specifics such as where you like to hang out since a predator can go there to look for you. Take plenty of time to get to know someone and don't fall for the \"soulmate\" routine just because they sound like they have a lot in common with you. Remember that a predator can read your profile, ask a few questions and get a sense of what you want to hear. There are lots of wonderful relationships that began online but there are also alot of very hurt people out there who got burned because they thought they were dealing with someone they could trust and ended up with their identities and their hearts stolen instead.

As I said to someone else in anothe forum, it might be wise to do an international background check on the person you are interested in. There are quite a few sites listed on the internet. Search under international background checks and invest a little money before you bring someone over. It could save your life.

When it comes to dating, i always want to reserve the largest part of my Heart for it, How about you?

I try to use my head first. To me, its important to become friends first and develop trust. After I feel more comfortable, I let my heart get more involved :)Whats your opinion on this?
